Expanding on Buffalo’s original chicken wing joint that opened in 1935, Anchor Bar officials announced a new location will come to Maple Road in Amherst NY.
The new location, located just south of University at Buffalo’s North Campus, will occupy space where the former Honey’s operated on the corner of Maple and Sweet Home Road.
The property spans over 7,000 square feet and will offer new franchisees Ming Tram, Tom Tram and Jim Kaczmarek the opportunity to separate the business into a family friendly restaurant zone with a banquet room and outside patio, along with another area for a sports bar.
Current plans suggest it will be the largest Anchor Bar in existence, with over 250 seats. The new location will also bring some new food ideas, like chicken wing dip, along with upscale entrees.
Penny Cipolla represented the Tenant with regard to this transaction.
